Coaching is a collaboration between the coach and client working towards the client's personal specific goals by providing guidance, resources, and support.  Each client should be treated as an individual because coaching is specific to the person and not a one size fits all.  


Coaches will share their knowledge, experience, and skills to help you bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.  Coaches will help the client set goals that align with her values, desires, and priorities.  


While working towards these goals, the coach will offer support, encouragement, help with troubleshooting along the way.  No plan is perfect from the start and the coach will work with client to make any adjustments needed.


Women living into their 80's will spend almost half of their life in one of these three stages, which is why it is so important to have the support, knowledge, and understanding of how to navigate them.


Perimenopause is the first phase towards menopause. This stage may start as early as age 35 and typically lasts from four to eight years, could be shorter or even longer.  This is when we start complaining about hot flashes, night sweats, period changes, and mood changes.  


Menopause is when you have not had a menstrual cycle for 12 consecutive months. 


Postmenopause are the years after that 12-month mark. Symptoms may continue, but hormone levels will typically begin to stabilize at a lower level.  Other long-term health concerns may be more important like bone loss and cardiovascular risks.  It is important to share any and all concerns regarding your health with your medical provider.


Coaching is important if you want to change your habits.  We will first start with a vision statement of what is important to you. Some clients want to gain muscle, some want better sleep, some want to have more energy, and some want all of it. 


We will then breakdown all your goals into steps to help you be successful in building new lifestyle habits by slowly incorporating them into your current routine and schedule.


After going through your goals, if one of them is to get more steps each day or go all the way to competing in a bodybuilding contest, we will look at your current activities and see what can be changed and/or added.  


One of the most important things women can do as we age is to stay active and build muscle anyway you can.  When I say build muscle, I don't mean that you have to get the weight room and crush it.  It can be as simple as using bands or 2-3lb weights.  


Before starting any workout routine, you should be cleared by your medical provider.


I believe God has and deserves a place in all aspects of our life.  I encourage clients to spend 10 minutes a day either reading their bible and/or doing a gratitude journal.  Putting your thoughts down on paper can help you reflect on the good in your day. This helps with creating a good mindset to incorporate other lifestyle changes.


Our coaching and events are here to support women in the way that feels right for them. If you’d like, we can include my faith-based approach — but the coaching and events are structed to your needs. Beliefs, whether spiritual or not, are fully respected here. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued.  Recommended topics will be tailored at your choice for your specific needs or event.

All personal information shared during our sessions will be treated as private and confidential.  I will not disclose any identifying information to others without your express written consent.  Records of our sessions will be securely stored and only accessible by the coach. The exception to confidentially is if there is reason to believe you are in imminent danger of harming yourself or someone else.
